Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. The most famously known is that she's the host of CNN's morning program At This Hour. In the past, she was co-anchor for CNN's morning show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. Bolduan also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress as well as events that occurred during her tenure as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt ceiling for the United States and deliberations by the super-committee. Her work on general assignments has included stories on the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. As a correspondent for the national network, she covered breaking news as well as feature stories for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. Prior to that, she worked as an anchor on NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. Her current home is living in New York City together with her husband, two kids and two grandchildren.
