Summer glau

Her popularity is partly due to the fact she was a part of Whedon's subsequent TV series, Firefly. Summer Glau was very good playing the challenging role as River Tam. The character of Summer Glau, Tam was forced to sit for government exams to help her prepare for her role as the ideal assassin. Tam was unable to control her feelings as a consequence. Glau showed off her fighting abilities as well as acting abilities in Firefly. It was also evident that being trained to be an assassin gave Glau to fully use her athletic abilities. Summer Glau's classical training has made her a skilled ballerina. It was her broken toe, however, that put an end to her dance career. Firefly ran for just one season but it gained an enthusiastic fan base. It was so passionate that Whedon returned to the show after a few years. Summer Glau however continued to work with quality.
