Rene Marie Russo, an American actor and film maker who was a former supermodel is also a director of films. Known for her elegant beauty her longevity in the highly demanding film industry shows her skills and talent as a performer. She began modeling in the 1970s. She soon became one the top models. From the 80s onwards, she began taking acting classes and studied theater before performing on the theater stage of Los Angeles. She started her career as an amateur fighter participating in regional competitions before registering to Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She has gained a lot of fame after joining the UFC thanks to her inside and outside the octagon's successes. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by her when she was 18 years old and went on to beat two opponents via submission. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout within just under 3 minutes the Round One. Rose not only took home the title but she was also recognized as Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA history with this match as she became the first woman to challenge for a champion title within any organization of note. Namajunas won several fights following the fight, and she was named Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
